Mark Tollefson is a Toronto-based producer, director and editor who has worked in film and television since he started as a freelance news cameraman in 1979. He has a degree in Philosophy from Carleton University and he graduated from Ryerson's film program in 1985. His credits include award-winning films such as the documentary feature ALIEN SOUNDSCAPE, dramatic projects DESIREE'S WISH and THE HARDEST DAY, as well as many commercials, music videos and advertising campaigns. He has edited documentaries for Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel and the Smithsonian Institute. His thesis project, DARK ARTS IN A LONG, PLASTIC HALLWAY, is an exploration of the dysfunctional and troubled television industry.
